The Department of Land, Environment, Agriculture and Forestry (TESAF) is a modern and multidisciplinary University department at the University of Padova, one of the oldest Universities in the world. Research and teaching activities are strongly oriented to the study, conservation, effective management, and sustainable use of agricultural, forest and natural resources.

The research group in Forest Policy and Economics deals with traditional and innovative research, spanning multiple topics, including natural resource governance, ecosystem service assessment, analysis of forest products markets and trade flows, implementation of CSR an ESG criteria in the forest sector, policy analysis and many others.

The Department is involved in three Erasmus Mundus programs and offers a full Master program as well as a Doctoral program fully delivered in English.
